Milestone directors play The Longest 18 Holes

On Monday 22 June 2009, Milestone directors, Luke Parry and Paul Rockett together with Graham Russell and Steve Saunders of Alno, played 18 holes of golf in one day stretching from Kent to the most western tip of Cornwall, raising money for two charities – CHASE Hospice Care for Children and Friends of PICU (the registered charity for Southampton Paediatric Intensive Care Unit).

The challenge began at 4.30am at The London Club in Kent and involved playing 2 holes at 9 different courses across 8 counties, travelling nearly 500 miles in the process.  The final putt was holed 17 hours and 45 minutes later at 10.15pm in near darkness at England's most westerly course at Cape Cornwall!
