On what was one of the hottest days of the year so far, with temperatures nudging 30 degrees celsius, we completed our 15 hour non-stop tennis marathon on Sunday 26th June!
This could not have been possible without the help and support of all that attended on the day and cheered us on into the darkness! Special mention must go to the Coombs family for hosting us in their wonderful grounds and not forgetting the unforgettable Greg Tweedale for getting us through those last couple of hours when the legs had gone and the spirits were flagging!Thanks also to Suzie Parry and Jemma King for providing the delicious strawberries and cream and amazing chocolate brownies. Last but not least a big thank you to Claire Parry who worked so tirelessly throughout the day in providing much needed sustenance and refreshment for players and spectators alike and looking after all the budding ball kids!
