Euronics enjoy day in the sun at Celtic Manor
Over 60 suppliers and members enjoyed some warm September sunshine at Celtic Manor as the former Ryder Cup venue played host to the annual Euronics golf and spa event. The Roman Road course was presented in great condition as the golfers battled it out for some great prizes, including a chance to win a MINI Cooper car for a hole in one on the short par 3 14th hole. Scoring on the day was fantastic with three teams posting more than 90 points. The eventual winners were Tim Greenslade (Lewis's), Jeremy Hill (Homemaker), Tom Hopper and Steve Rickersey (both Miele) who scored an impressive 96 points. Steve Rickersey (Miele), also triumphed in the Euronics Suppliers Individual competition with an impressive 44 points. Whilst for the Euronics Members, Frank Craig (Frank Craig Ltd) triumphed with a fine score of 41 points . Frank Craig also came out on top for the best score on Par 3's (15 points - 5 under par) whilst Alex Salt (Domestic Appliances Sudbury) was the winner of the best score on Par 4's with a 4 under par total of 24 points.
Congratulations to all the prize winners and to everyone for making the day such a success. We hope to see you again next year.
